“The work of HomeFront is multi-dimensional. We do much more than provide shelter. Our programs and activities are designed to help families experiencing homelessness gain skills for self-empowerment and develop a vision of a better future for themselves and their children.”
HomeFront founder and CEO Connie Mercer
One of the many ways HomeFront enables the transformation of the lives of homeless families is through ArtSpace, which houses HomeFront’s therapeutic art programs.
“More than art, it is a special place where the creative process becomes a tool for self-expression, critical thinking and problem solving that can help transform the lives of the clients HomeFront serves,” says ArtSpace Director Ruthann Traylor.
