Agata May’kowska Artistically Upcycles
On Saturday, Oct. 23, ArtJam will host an Artist Demo at the Gallery.
Artist Agata May’kowska will demonstrate from 11 am to 1:30 pm. She will be showing how she turns accessories and shoes into original, one of a kind works of art! Stop by 19 Hulfish Street, Princeton to meet Agata and see her create in person.
After a time of experiencing abuse, Agata decided to use her work as a platform to bring awareness to psychological abuse and provide victims with a visual form to express their struggle and the power and beauty of their healing.
Working with acrylics and mixed media such as paper, broken mirrors and fabrics, her focus has been to inspire other survivors to find the complexity and beauty of their emotional healing so that they can live a whole-hearted life.
